Rated 5 out of 5 by from crock pot i bought this around a month ago for my wife as our old one stopped working ,this is amazing it has both high and low settings but it has a keep warm option that our old one did not have ,its easy to use and looks very stylish in our kitchen ,its great for doing many meals but our favourite is beef stew and dumplings which we leave cooking all day till we want to eat its so enjoyable as all the meat and vegetables are soft and delicious ,there is so many meals to do in a slow cooker its a great invention and we love it very much ,this model the pot can be put in the oven too and its a decent size too great for a family of four

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I brought this to replace my old slow cooker which had broken, Was impressed with my old one but this one is much better as the lid is more compact and does not "POP"  during cooking, I am confident enough to leave it on  when I go out the house. The slow cooker looks expensive but is a very good price. My only negative is there is not a light indicator on the pot so you cannot see if it is on when you plug it in, you have to wait a bit for it to start warming up. Will be purchasing another for my Son and his wife shortly and would recommend this product to anyone that is considering buying one for a small family

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use and clean. Great colour This is easy to use and clean and we've been making delicious stews and even a sponge pudding, since buying it. The colour is quite funky, which makes a change from a boring neutral. We have a purple kitchen, so it goes well. Don't be tempted to add too much liquid, we're new to slow cooking, so it's quite different in the lack of moisture needed. If you add mushrooms to a dish, they make it quite saucy. Another tip is to plug it into a timer, so it turns on half way through the day. Most recipes are 8 hours or so, which means it's too early to switch it on before leaving for work at 7am. We set our timer for noon, so it's all cooked by the time we get in from work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for a Student I bought this in early November  for my daughter who is a student. She loves to cook and frequently cooks for herself and her flatmates.  She has very long days and appreciates being able to come home to a meal already cooked.  She uses it for soups, stews , chili , both with and without meat. The long cooking time helps to add depth and flavour when she is limited in the ingredients she can afford. It is a good size and because it is tall and round it takes up less space on the counter than the shorter oval kind.  I assume it is easy to use  and clean otherwise  she probably wouldn't have bothered using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Points: Plastic lid handle therefore no burnt fingers.Cosiderably lighter in weight as the cast iron crock pot ,easier to wash.Very efficient at doing its job as a slow cooker.Good price at the time and even though you can buy a cheaper make at that price, the quality will not compare with this very well manufactured piece of equipment.I would recommend this product to any cook ,beginners particularly ,as you are able to seal your meat in the morning and leave on whilst at work then theres a meal ready for you when you get home! Invaluable purchace now ,as winter stews and casseroles are not that far away. Bad Points: Cannot find any bad points.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from would recommend This is my first slow cooker ever purchased and I compared quite a few before making the decision. So far I have been very happy with the results of what I have cooked, a variety of savoury dishes. As there is only myself and husband now at home I thought it would be beneficial to use a slow cooker rather than keep turning on the large oven. I have also found that I'm able to make a large enough amount that I'm able to freeze some. The only downside was finding space in a cupboard as I didn't want it left out on kitchen worktop, so some jiggling had to be done! Wish I'd brought one years ago!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A crock of.....excellence :) Been looking for a while at buying another slow cooker; had one as a wedding present many years ago and it was really useful. Far too many to choose from so swayed by the brand and reviews on a Good Housekeeping product test ( well, you know......!) What a good choice I made! Product is dead easy to use; Low or High settings and a Keep Warm function which is handy if someone is arriving after everyone else has eaten and still wants a hot meal. Removable pot is dishwasher safe and so is the lid, although I would say best to hand wash this due to the design ( not a proble, just my opinion) Results have been consistently good and would recommend this slow cooker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Crock Pot Borrowed my daughter in law's Crock Pot to try and was completely won over so bought my own. It's great to be able to cook casseroles etc at a fraction of the cost of running expensive oven for hours. Thanks to recent popularity there are loads of exciting recipes out there to try too. I particularly like the fact that this one has a light to reassure you that it's on before you leave the house. Also love the heavy ceramic pot which looks good on the table and washes really easily.
