  • flavour
Just like any relationship, it takes time to get to know each other. Slow cooking really develops the flavours, particularly when doing something like a curry. Let your Crock-Pot ingredients get to know each other! tomatoes
  • Healthy
Good taste meets healthier meals! Slow cooking is an excellent way to retain more vitamins, juices and minerals
  • Slow cookers make cheaper cuts of meat like lamb shoulders, chicken thighs and beef briskets taste delicious with a little time for cooking properly. Try it for yourself!
  • Your Crock-Pot will have a tightly sealed lid so the liquid won’t evaporate. If you’re adapting a standard recipe, reduce the liquid by 1/3 and ensure it only covers the meat and vegetables – make sure you don’t overfill!
  • Just like the liquid doesn’t reduce, it also doesn’t thicken. Either roll your meat in a small amount of flour before adding it to your Crock-Pot, or add cornflour at the end!
